Our education goal is to develop students with a distinct identity who are able to lead the way in the Information Society.

The Information Society requires a University education which encourages self-directed learning by offering a "place where individuals can learn anytime, anywhere on their own" as well as traditional classroom lectures. Designed to lead university education in the information society, the Media Center of KUFE amalgamates the functions of a traditional library, Computer Education Center, and a Learning Support System. While lessons are normally organized by teachers, the Media Center also has librarians, specialists and engineers in the fields of science and technology, intellectual property rights, and information processing to support student research.

In a global society today's students are expected to acquire practical English skills. Our library has a comprehensive multi-media language learning environment that gives students the necessary tools for relevant communication.

[Media Lounge]

The spacious Lounge on the first floor offers a convenient communication space to students. It's also open to public for public events.

[E-learning System]

The e-learning lesson system by internet enables students to prepare and review classes anytime anywhere. Teachers and staff members are currently working on the enhancement of the system.

[Library on the 2nd and 3rd floors]

Keeping in mind the idea that "the books read in youth will influence one's whole life and contribute to the development of personality", our library houses a wide range of books in various fields of study offered by the University, with an emphasis on the science and engineering fields. Many educational videos and DVDs are available for self-study. Learning support and rental notebook PC services are also available. Hours: 9:00 ~ 20:00
